If you decide to take up a finance option with FlipPay, we'll typically require payment method to ensure repayments can be made - credit/debit card, or direct debit.

Card types enabled for use on your individual payment request will be shown on the payment page, along with the card surcharge applicable.

When providing a credit/debit card, we'll check your card with our payment processor to ensure it's valid.

  • If your card has expired, you will not be able to use it with FlipPay

  • If your card is about to expire (in the current month), you may not be able to use it with FlipPay

  • If your card is over it's limit at the time you register it with us, you may not be able to use it with FlipPay

There can be other reasons your bank or card provider may not allow your card to be registered - in any case, you'll see an instant notification on the payment page confirming we're able to use your card, or not.

FlipPay typically only accepts Australian cards, and processes transactions in Australian dollars.
